Homefield K9 Training collects personal data from prospective and active clients to provide you with the best service possible.

1. The Data I Collect & Why I Need It

The data I collect includes your name, phone number, email address, home address (for 1-to-1 clients), and relevant information about your dog.

I use this information to process your bookings, plan and deliver the most appropriate training for you and your dog, and provide you with relevant training materials. The legal basis for processing this data is the performance of my contract with you to provide training services. I will never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Third-Party Service Providers & Data Storage

Homefield K9 Training uses Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company) to manage group class bookings. When you book a class, the personal data you enter into the booking form (such as your name, contact details, and dog’s information) is securely processed and stored on Squarespace’s secure servers.

3. How Long Your Data is Kept

Personal data and training records are kept for six years following your last booking with Homefield K9 Training, in line with UK legal limitations and tax regulations. At the end of this retention period, your data will be securely deleted or completely anonymised for use in business analysis and planning.

Under UK data protection laws, you have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, or ask for your data to be erased (where it does not conflict with my statutory or insurance obligations to retain it).
